Does a blood audition hurt? plz share me, its my first blood interview, nd m freaked out!! also, r der ne side effects?
Answers: Ask The technician what will occur & tell her ur VERY Nervous. They'll usually try to converse you thru it.
Usually, if a technician is giving u a blood test they look for a appropriate vein; they put a tourniquet around your upper arm & may share you to open & close your mitt (to get blood flowing contained by vein).
It usually feels similar to a pinch, they may fill up a few small vials. Then they slip plunger out, put pressure on spot to keep it from bruising & furnish you a band aid.
-Sometimes they don't capture vein 1st time and own to try again...it might feel more sore.
-Sometimes they try other arm.
-If they hold trouble finding good capillary they may want to do it in your mitt...this hurts more, but is tolerable.
Worst case: If they can't grasp it after several tries...ask for someone else.
Don't Worry: The needle won't take stuck inside or break off or anything approaching that.
TIP: Drink plenty of fluids before you be in motion because this hydrates your veins & make it easier for technician or MD. to find vein well.
