Why do race carry their tonsils removed?
Answers: They are only removed if you own repeated throat infections, if the tonsils are persistently infected or otherwise diseased beyond seizure they will take them out. It's not a massively common practice now because it has be recognised that the tonsils play an important cut in the body's guard against infection.

one primary reason is because of sleep apnia. It routine that when they sleep they can barely breathe because their tonsils are so roomy that they are blocking the airway. Also people near large tonsils are prone to loud snoring.
