What's the difference between adderall and wellbutrin, and can I still smoke??
I was on adderall a while ago but stopped taking it because I didn't enjoy health insurance and it be costing me a fortune. I recently moved, get insurance and went to a contemporary doc, but he didn't want to prescribe me adderall because i just showed up asking for a prescription (which is forgivable if this is something people try to sell) But I'm wondering what the differences are and how it will quality versus what I was on in the past?
thanks
Answers: why you comtemplating that crap anyway for yuppie neuotics singular, are you one
Its entirely different. Adderall is a CNS stimulant, and Wellbutrin is an antidepressant that works on dopamine and norepinephrine levels (but have an anti ADD effect consequently). You should be fine, but you may notice that your cigarettes aroma funny. That doesn't happen for everyone, though.
If you do own problems, you can ask for your Adderall again, or ask for Strattera. Both work for ADD, and Ritalin is generic now too, so I don`t know that's an option.
Well I am on wellbutron too, and I am pretty sure my psychiatrist told me that welbutron be originally not meant to treat any mental disease, it was truly developed to help relations stop smoking! When they were trialling it on people they realize it could treat depression, bipolar disorder and apparently ADD. Maybe you already knew that and that's why your asking. But if, I don't think it is terrifying to smoke and be on welbutron, it will probably just engender you want to smoke less.
Its be a while sense I had this conversation. I am totally simply telling you what I remember so you should defenantly double check.
