My mum is a really heavy smoker and have been since she be about 13. She's presently 44. She has have a smokers cough for years, but recently it have changed and it sounds scary. It's almost similar to a mix between coughing and retching. I am so unbelievably scared that she have lung cancer and is dying. I have asked her to budge doctors but she refuses, as she say it's just a smokers cough but I know it must be worse than that. Every dark she coughs and keeps me awake, lying surrounded by bed with a premonition of doom. I have a immense family and if she dies, it will dive apart. I don't know what to do. Can anyone please help me?
