Is My Daughter Still Contagious?

My daughter has 2 ear infections & a cold (cough, congestion, sore throat, runny nose). We started her on her amoxocilin finishing night. So I'm wondering if it's out of danger to take her around other kids or is she still contagious?

Answers:    If your child have any fever, chills or sweats, afterwards, she cannot be around any other children. Unless, the only justification that she is on an antibiotic, is because of the ear infections. But, then again, her cold symptoms can be contagious. As a rule, once the child is symptom free for 24 hours, next she will no longer be considered contagious. I hope that this helps and that your daughter feel better soon. Ruth
she should be on antibiotics for at least 24 hours since she is not contagious, but being that it is close, she should be ok for trick or treat and adjectives the fun halloween stuff.
