Your bones are not fully formed and you could easily have broken stale the tip of the fibula or tibia. The treatment will be a cast, in the luggage of a mild break, or surgery, if the break is severe.

It really depends on the fall. If you rolled your ankle then it is freshly a sprain. I would get crutches, it will heal faster if you don't use your foot. Also the numb premonition is from the ice, not the sprain. I advise you to soak your foot surrounded by hot water to increase circulation, this way if your foot is sprained, it will lend a hand you heal faster. If your foot doesn't feel better or get worse, go get a x-ray. If you don't bring back your ankle treated then it could cause sabotage that could plage you a entire lifetime. Stay off your injured leg until you are fully able to saunter without pain. Hope You Get Well Soon. You will call for to keep the ice on it, and hold on to your foot elevated above where your heart is when you are lying down, when you are sitting up, keep your foot on a bench, so it is about even or above your hips.
It should take just two or three days to heal, but it is important that you rime it and dont put weight on it.

walking and walking on your ankle/heal wont oblige it heal
