Patellar tendonitis on both knees?

11 weeks ago I was diagnosed with a mild satchel of tendonitis. I had been foreboding pain and tenderness for olden times 2 months. I could run 2 miles and not be sored, but whenever I jumped I felt cramp. The doctor gave me 1 month and a half of R.I.C.E., which I followed. Much transformation, but there was still discomfort. So he gave me 1 1/2 more months, I have the appointment contained by 4 days, It has been slowly better since i staretd resting but its still a little tender like 5 percent of how it be at the beggining. I fear the ****** is oing to tell me to lay down on the couch for another 6 weeks, very soon that is summer and i could have adjectives the time in the world to train. I have taken a ton of Ibuprofen, done strecthing, bought the knees brace level 2, and ice 5 times a daytime. I want advice on how long it will take for me to be capable of play basketball again, i mean its already been 3 months, also if some surfaces would be better for me to start running for a time, like grass or dirt, and any other suggest

What should i do!! please give support to!?



Answers:    It will depend on how extensive the tendonitis is as to when you can start training again but ask the doctor if it is ok to start doing gentle stretching exercises all the same.

As for surfaces to run on I would say start out slowly on carpet if you own carpet in your house (an example only), but I would recommend checking next to your doctor about this as well to see what they utter.
