I have had pelvic niggle, sometimes bad, sometimes less so, for over 20 years. I've have every test from laparoscopies to ultrasound and nothing can be found. I haven't have any children but now that I am menopausing, this pain is regularly quite severe, especially on the right side. Right now, it feel like a spear has be thrust through my abdomin to my back. Panadol helps for a while. Any ideas? Is it possible for cysts in intestines to do this? I give the impression of being to be prone to growing cysts in odd places surrounded by my body.

Answers:    Depending on the type and size of cyst yes it can cause pelvic pain and even pressure.

It is also possible that you could own a hormone imbalance such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (an example only) going on that could be causing this.

I don't know when your second laparoscopy was but I would recommend another consultation with a gynecologist as economically to see what they say depending on what the GI (gastrointestinal) doctor has to influence if you have seen one already.
