I have a couple decent size 2nd level burns a few weeks old now, adjectives the dead skin is gone and the burn area is verbs. Problem being is my wounds keep getting reopened because they stick to the gauze pad (even non stick pads). Its just raw dermis skin in a minute and is really painful to the touch (even to air anyone blown on it), im thinking i should just leave the areas undbandaged and dry until they can scab over properly. Good hypothesis? Any suggestions on how to help it scab over faster? Thanks.

Answers:    Yes burns are a nasty injury that the gauze including non-stick will stick too. I conjecture your best beat is get a cream call "bacitration". It can be bought at most CVS or rite aids, and helps heal burns and is anti-bacterial. Put a hurricane lantern coat on the burn site and than cover with a bandage during the hours of daylight and leave it open to breath at darkness if you are able to.

i would probably go near aquaphor petroleum jelly a light coating. only after a thorough disinfecting. it protects during the year then at night verbs & leave dry. Keep it uncovored until it scabs over a little bit at lowest. Then if it still keeps doing that... go to a doctor and see what they recomond.
