Answers: Your recovery time will vary depending on several variables. How much viable bone is currently disappeared (femoral/pelvic), what is the reason for the new hip replacement (faulty arthrosis/bone growth or degredation), does your surgeon plan on performing a minimally invasive THR or a much more invasive approach?
Make sure you do adjectives of the exercises you did last time for your recovery BEFORE have the replacement, having strong muscles and bones is key to a quicker recouping; however, if you're having increased pain near the exercises you might need to find another way to attain stronger as pain is an indication you're doing the exs wrong or your hip just can't rob it anymore.
If you're overweight make sure you lose some weight (in a strong manner, no fad diets) and get hold of enough proteins in your diet to modernize your tissues before/after surgery.
Also practice getting in and out of bed/chair, steps/walking with crutches maintain the hip precautions you'll need to follow BEFORE you go thru beside the surgery. Your post op recovery is much faster when you've prepared yourself ahead of time instead of trying to learn after the surgery. After the surgery you should be focusing on increasing your function, not study hip precautions you should have known beforehand surgery. (Hip precautions after surgery, no excessive hip flexion/keep hips at bend of 90 degrees or less, no crossing your legs, no twisting your involved hip)
Do not be surprised if your recouping takes longer this time. You are nearly twice the age you were when you have the first surgery. Don't use that as an excuse but merely as a reference. With age your bones are more brittle and take longer to alleviate (so make sure you follow your weight deportment precautions very closely if you have any after surgery). Your muscles are also not as strong so you'll call for to exert more energy and effort to do impossible to tell apart exercises. Finally your risk of dislocation goes up significantly with a THR repair/redo. The surgeons already cut through the collective capsule once and now they're nearly ready to put another entry point in it as ably so you'll now have two places which the shared can more readily dislocate (so make sure you follow the hip precautions to prevent dislocations!)
