13 year dated Bunion Surgery Walking On Cast!?
Have you ever be within so much spasm..?
Answers: You may be lucky, but doctors read aloud these things for a reason!
STOP putting any weight on it and rest as much as possible, next to your leg and foot elevated on a couple of pillows to reduce the swelling.
I'm afraid you will just enjoy to see what the doctors say next Thursday. In the be set to time, if your foot continues to swell, or you start to loose sensation in it, or it feels cold or starts to swing colour, go back to the doctor straight away (or to your nearest ER if doctor not for sale. It may mean that the cast have become too tight and is affecting your blood circulation to your leg.
Rest, get that foot up, and good luck!
Honey stay on those crutches for as long as you can! I have my first bunion surgery when I was 13 too. I am 20 now and guess what -- my foot STILL hurts! I took myself past its sell-by date the crutches way too early, and took the boot bad after a couple weeks because I couldn't deal with it. I regret it so much! Do your best to hang on to weight off of that foot, no concern how it feels! I have my subsequent surgery coming up soon and I am worried that my left foot isn't going to be strong enough to support the counterbalance of my surgery!
NO WEIGHT! Trust me on this one! I was exactly where you are presently!
