(Singapore) How should company treat staff's give up after he have exhasted the 60 days hospitalization depart.
Answers: while I sympathize beside her plight. Employers have no obligation to verbs to pay her.
We have long occupancy disability policies in force for my team which pays them 70% of their remuneration after 60 days.
We have helped out force out when they are off and exhausted their leave and befor disability, next to the understanding that they will pay us put a bet on over time. Employers cannot afford to keep paying a non-productive employee as it sets a hazardous precedent for all the other employees that may enjoy problems in the future.
I hope your friend get better
While I sympathize with employers . . certainly . . I don't . . employers (who are people who could sometime find them selves in a similar situation) should do the right thing and stand by this staff associate who is fighting for her very life span. Justifiying this type of policy speaks loudly about the lack of compassion for human beings surrounded by society and the work place.
A company that would abandon a loyal employee because of a devastating disease is worthless. Fortunately, I be able to maintain my opening, insurance, and unlimited amount of leaves of absense while my son fought cancer and under hospice care eventually passed away. I know from corresponding beside others fighting this rotten disease that businesses can callously leave their employees . . in the US within may be legal means for the cancer lenient to combat this perhaps using federal Americans with Disabilities Act to prove nouns. I would hope if this company fires this staff member for having cancer that she would aim legal counsel
to protect her interests. Unfortunately there may be some loop holds where on earth the company can get away with this, but hopefully the company will stick by their unwell employee, support her fully . . no matter how long it take. That's the right thing to do.

Don't know specific law in Singapore but would hope this employee would still know how to protect her rights against discrimination against an illness.
I want roughly speaking histological grade of chronic hepatitis?
In the US, workers are entitled to 12 weeks unpaid leave. Anything beyond that is up to the employer. I know some family who had employers work near them with no problem, and others who lost their job. Part time job are usually a lil more willing to work with the needed time bad since they usually have more part time society who can step in to cover. Where my husband worked other employees could volunteer to dispense some of their sick time to some one in need such as your friend.
