Could this be seasonal? Could the be I own asthma forever type of thing, I have taken my classes at the fire dept and I am on the roll to be a paid FF...they may think twice if this is something I enjoy all together forever... advice?

Smoking WoodChips?

Answers:    cooker is right its probably a short time ago the allergies. I've never tried the honey thing, don't know if it works or not but I find Zyrtec works really well and its over the counter immediately. I also beleive singulair is great for allergies but I think you need a marks for it. good luck. there is no such entity as seasonal asthma. just seasonal allergies. Asthma is a year around disease. so you should be Ok with the FF entry. oh and good luck with your classes too.

Remedies to Allergies?

Maybe its NOT asthma-maybe lone allergies, like you said. If its from pollen or other air born irritants, you can CURE yourself by taking a teaspoon of LOCAL honey respectively day. After a month or so, you will begin to see expansion. Your body will naturally work with the local honey to develop immunity to anything floating in the air. Try not to rely on medications-they adjectives have side effects, as you know. Natural remedies, like local honey, own no side effects and will not harm you long term. Rather they will augment your overall health and keep you from coming down next to every little germ that floats your way. Give local honey a chance-what do you have to lose, besides your allergies? definitly

Are these ear problems newly subdivision of my cold or a separate infection??

It might really in recent times be allergies!

Adult-onset asthma is not really all that common...it does ensue, but it's pretty infrequent.

Generally, they won't hire you as a FF if you have a hx of asthma, so you really have to maintain that in mind.

If it's seasonal it will go away within a couple of months, right? If it doesn't go away, then that would be basis for concern. Maybe your seasonal allergies have morphed in to something a bit more year-round.

If they give you z-pack, they might be thinking that you have some kind of an upper respiratory infection. Lots of society get some wheezing when they get a URI. Have you ever hear of Reactive Airway Disease? That results in asthma-like symptoms when something irritates your airways (such as a cold). It's not asthma, and goes away when you draw from over the cold. If I were you, I'd keep an eye on my symptoms, run all meds as prescribed, and if things don't get better, I'd follow up next to a doctor (hopefully when you have insurance).

Of course, you can always shift to the ER if things get worse.

Hope this helps
