Dog bite and rabies plz answer?
my leg did not got any wounds and near was no bleeding at all. it happend when i be walking and suddenly a stray dog hold my leg in his mouth for2 seconds from aft.
But there were 2 blood blisters, which be also present on my other leg.
I don't know if the blisters were because of bite or they were already their.
so to be on the sheltered side i took a shot of anti rabies vaccine on 16th and second dose on 23rd.
am i going in the right direction?
can a virus enter my body through the blisster(although my jeans was not torn so teaths of dog did not touvhed my skin directly)
i go to see a doc and he said thas as there was no wound and bleeding so no call for of vaccine...but in any case i go for the pre exposure routine.

The day 3, 7, 14, etc., are to be counted from day “0”

a) Generally the treatment is one dose respectively on day 0, 28, and 56.

Rabies kills, in haste. the sooner you get treatment for it, the less credible it is you will be infected, and possibley die from it.

Yes you are going in right direction . you don't have any bleeding .Rabies virus are verbs ed only through blood. If you have any doubt you can rob precautionary vaccine. Your doc was right, the skin has to be broken to receive the virus.
