6 month aged beside ongoing Broncilitis?
She did spend one night contained by Hospital for observation on oxygen but they let her stir home.
In the past week since then, shes not on the way, at all ! She now have a very hard uncompromising cough and brings up alot of phlegm, some of which she is about to cough out the rest is swallowed.
She is having approx partly of her normal bottles and is quite slow with wheeze and crackles.
Im going back to my GP tomorrow, but of late wondering, should I be concerned that its not improving, the Hospital Dr said some babies wheeze all through winter ?!
Answers: Yes you requirement to go back . my chief concern would be the wheezing, crackles, and loss of appetite. Generally, the loss of appetite will probably be due to the zest needed to consume the milk ... she doesnt have the energy to do it.
Visit your doctor and enjoy her re-evaluated ... I wish you and your baby girl the best . nick care
This is very adjectives in young children. My daughter also suffers. The sense I am told is that a bad infection such as bronchitis can scar the tube contained by the chest and create small pockets that unfortunately breed bacteria. Push your GP for a specialist appointment as once we have a specialist he did allergy tests gave us inhalers and put her on an antibiotic call Azithromycin as the usual Amoxicillin and Co-Amoxiclav were not working. Our daughter be on long term antibiotics for a year to allow her to grow as the constant infections were making her undersized, which meant she was more prone to infection.
Unfortunately she is presently asthmatic, but she hasn't had a chest infection since November and the asthma is getting better.
