Answers: Call your orthodontist asap and have it put back on. Don't dally until your next appointment because they may not have time surrounded by their schedule to put it back on and do the regular adjustment you are planned for. I am an orthodontic assistant and at our office we save numerous "repair" appointments throughout the daytime for instances like this. They should be able to see you reasonably soon or at least get you the proper amount of time at your subsequent appointment to have it replaced.
