Answers: The dutiful news is that dry sockets in upper experience teeth sites are extremely rare. So, unless you are having anguish, or are having problems with food accumulate in the socket (unlikely with upper knowledge teeth) it is best to leave the areas alone.

I had mine taken out a couple years ago. They didn't give me a syringe. They basically told me to brush my teeth carefully and rinse my mouth out with brackish water at least every 4 hours in need swishing the water around too hard. If I be you I'd wait at least 5 more days because I remember my oral surgeon relating me that 8 days is when you're out of danger for dry socket. HTH I would give this a few more days; it won't hurt anything. The probability of getting a dry socket on upper extractions is very minimal anyways.
