i have have plenty of all of those... and i dont ever have a nouns rate with the root canals... the crowns simply last for a certain amount of time. intuitively with that tooth being contained by that back i would get it pulled. after a while you wont distinguish much difference cause your teeth will spread out in the space merely a bit. You are only 27? Way too young to start losing your teeth. But this is how it starts - one by one. My best friend have the same thing develop to her, she started out having the crown done. It worked for a while. I suspect what happened is that the crack if truth be told began to extend beyond the crown margin down the root. Once she started inkling symptoms again, it was probably 5 years? She then have the root canal to get out of twinge, as that removes the nerve. They can go thru the top of the crown so you won't necessitate a new crown unless you don't take thought of this one and it develops decay around the margins (hence brush 2x daily and floss every single day) Eventually my friend's tooth crack extended far adequate down the roots that she ended up with an extraction. It be between two teeth so her option was a bridge or an push in. Since the two adjacent teeth had no filling or other dental work (virgin teeth) I told her to get the implant. So if you did the crown now and it held up for 3-5 years that would make a contribution you time to save for the implant. Then a bit than doing the root canal, if that came to overrun, you could go straight to the implant.

I would crown the tooth, they can other go back and do a root conduit through the crown later. If you extract that tooth please realize that the tooth opposing it (above) will eventually drift down and you will also hold to extract it. This will be many years down the road, but because of gravity that tooth has nil to stop it from continuing to erupt.
Unless the tooth is split down the root, the crown should take care of your twinge.
You possibly are clenching/grinding your teeth. Check with the dentist about a dark guard to wear while sleeping.
