Am i eligible for medicaid?
Answers: I haven't worked in an bureau that accepted Medicaid for a few years, but I can tell you that they foot approval on income and the number of people in the household. I enjoy never seen anyone over 18 yrs old grasp approved for Medicaid unless they were pregnant or mentally retarded. Medicaid also will only clear for dental work for 20 yrs old and younger. They also will not cover veneers. That is cosmetic and you don't own to have them to function properly, so Medicaid doesn't view that as critical dental work.
Sorry, but I doubt that you would qualify for medicaid at your age unless you are pregnant, and even if you did, you would only get restricted dental coverage until you hit 21.
You didn't indicated if you already have Medicaid, but if you don't you should call your Department of Social Services and apply for it. I consider each state has different rules almost what is covered. If you already have Medicaid, you should have a number to phone call where you can ask what is covered. Usually they will not cover dental care and indubitably nothing cosmetic. Sometimes they might pay for a tooth extraction if it is abscessed. There are sometimes dental school or dental hygiene schools at technical colleges that will distribute discounted fillings , x-rays, and cleanings to poor people, but you enjoy to qualify. Usually they have no interest in doing any cosmetic work or such things as crowns, whitening, etc. I don't believe you will be capable of get it unless you are pregnant. In some places, medicaid ends when you are 21, so you may be able to find some coverage.
