Answers: I got braces when I was 11years ripened. Many of my friends were laughing at me and calling me names for have them. But, in the end I return with the last laugh, because until very soon I still receive a lot of compliments about my teeth.
There are other alternatives on what type of braces you can obtain. There is even the ones that is clear, much like a mouth piece guard. Tom Cruise have these years ago. It might costs a little than your average metal braces. Either way, you will benifit from it within the future.

There is the Donner method, this braces actually slide near your teeth as they move into the correct position, so that way you don't have to stir the orthodonist to get the traditional braces adjusted. Finally, nearby is a kind that fit inside instead of outside. As you can tell, I own been doing a lot of research. Unlike yourself, (lucky you) I hold to have jaw surgery to realign my chin,and my braces will put on immediately after my surgery. So it not too late. Good Luck. :)
